Banks Peninsula is a significant recreational and natural resource, we proudly present 41.9 hectares with substantial native planting undertaken by the current owner of 24 years. Located in the Okuti Valley just 4.7km from the world famous Little river Café and Gallery, and a further 34kms takes you to the historical Akaroa Village, and a 45 minute drive from Christchurch. The 1980s house includes three bedrooms plus office, double glazing, insultation, logburner and a full-width verandah to enjoy the magnificent birdsong. Vehicle storage is well catered for by an internal access single garage, carport and several outbuildings, one with a mechanics pit and 3 phase electricity. Close to the main house is a charming cabin, two streams, numerous tracks that were tidied in 2019, and forestry tracks suitable for 4 wheel drive vehicles. Recent tree felling of the pine forest provides the opportunity to replant in natives, pine or allow natural regeneration. I look forward to sharing this tranquil and magical part of New Zealand. |
